Mrs. Dorothy Lee Wilson Deloney, 80, of Wilton, Arkansas died Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at her residence.
Mrs. Deloney was born April 17, 1932 in Lockesburg, Arkansas to the late Floyd and Brunette Wright Wilson.
She was a member of the Eastern Star, former member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, Oakland, CA and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Wilton, AR, where she was an active choir member, mission sister and the church mother. Mrs. Deloney was a retired licensed cosmetologist and also retired from Delmonte Cannery, Oakland, CA, the Ashdown Independent School District and Georgia Pacific Paper Mill.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lenn Charles Deloney, sister, Florine Piggee, two brothers, Leroy and Ray Wilson and one great grand-daughter, Ayaria Deloney.
Survivors includes, four sons, Rev. Lenn (Estelle) Deloney of Mt. Pleasant, TX, Floyd Lee (Dannah) Deloney of Washington, DC, Jerry Dean (Peggy) Deloney, Wilton, AR and Perry Charl (Patricia) Deloney of Temple, TX; two daughters, LaDoris Deloney-McMullen, Wilton, AR and Arnette (Rev. Tim) Twine, Seattle, WA, two sisters; Gwenetta Phillips and Letha Watson both of Texarkana, TX; fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, eight brothers and sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews,cousins and friends; special friends, the nationwide prayerline and "Little Tutor."
Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bethlehem Baptist Church, 531 W. Main St., Wilton, AR 71865 with the Rev. Lenn D. Deloney as the eulogist. Burial will be in Flint Hill Cemetery, Mineral Springs, Arkansas under the directions of Lyles Funeral Home, Inc.
Friday, the family will received friends at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Wilton, AR from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, viewing hours will be at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Wilton, AR from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
